Structural lining under floating slabs

-Pipes under the slab rehabilitated without breaking it -Structural epoxy liner installed through existing access points -Flooring and finishes preserved

Repair under the slab, without tearing it out

In a basement, drains and sewer pipes run beneath the concrete slab. When they are cracked, sagging or full of roots, the traditional repair means breaking the slab, digging, then redoing everything: flooring, finishes, sometimes walls.

Structural lining avoids that job site. A liner impregnated with epoxy resin is inserted into the existing pipe through an existing access point, then cured in place: it forms a new, self-supporting and watertight pipe inside the old one.

Our method

  1. Inspection and locating of the pipe under the slab
  2. Cleaning of the pipe to prepare the wall
  3. Installation of the structural liner through existing access points
  4. Video check of the result, handed to the client

We are accredited Formadrain installers. Flooring, tiles and finishes stay in place. If the pipe has collapsed, the inspection shows it right away and we propose the right solution.
